Notes from the Editor: Detour into the Countryside
This story began as a creative challenge: to build a cohesive editorial using only vintage pieces. I wanted to explore how secondhand clothing, often seen as separate from the fashion forward motion - could be reintroduced with intention and styled with the clarity of an editorial eye. Rooted in 90s minimalism and set against the softness of nature, the collection features structured outerwear, worn denim, and earthy textures that feel timeless yet personal. Every piece was selected not just for its silhouette, but for how it could move, layer, and hold space in the stillness of the countryside. It’s a quiet ode to nostalgia, simplicity, and the freedom that comes with working outside the lines.
Dear ‘90s,
You were more than just a decade you were a mood, a masterpiece and a movement of effortlessly cool. Full of sturdy contrasts like rebellion and refinement, city streets and quiet escapes. This edit is an ode to the understated elegance of that era where effortless meets the raw beauty of the countryside. Inspired by soft dresses catching in the wind, oversized blazers draping with confidence and well-worn denim that tells the story of movement and ease. Neutral tones against open landscapes with the balance of structure and softness, this kind of fashion is not begging for attention but surely holds it.
Yours,
